  • The Mitutoyo 571-215-10 LCD Absolute Digimatic depth gauge has a measurement range of 0” - 24"/0 - 600 mm, an LCD digital readout precise to 0.0005”/0.01 mm, with + or - 0.002”/0.05 mm of accuracy, and data output to transmit results to a Mitutoyo miniprocessor or computer for statistical process control (SPC).
  • This depth gauge has an electronic microprocessor providing the ability to set a temporary zero position and return to a true zero reading. The output port transmits results to a Mitutoyo miniprocessor or computer through an interface cable (not included) for statistical process control (SPC). An electrostatic capacitance linear encoder helps prevent overspeed errors to help ensure repeatable, precise measurement.
  • The slider and beam are made of hardened stainless steel, with micro-lapped base and measuring faces for accuracy. A lock screw allows the user to hold measurements. The height gauge weighs 3.09 lbs/1.4 kg and comes with a fitted case and a SR44 battery.
  • Depth gauges, also called gages, are precision measuring instruments that travel on a beam to measure the depth of any shape that has a step, groove, or slot. These gauges (sliders) travel on a measuring beam and are moved to position by hand and may be adjusted by a calibrated screw. The base of the gauge rests at the top of the shape whose recession is to be measured, while the beam extends to the bottom of the hole to determine the measurement. Gauge position is read from a scale, a dial, counters, and/or an electronic display. Depth gauges are typically used in manufacturing, machining, and mechanical engineering.
  • Mitutoyo manufactures precision measuring tools, metrology equipment, and systems. The company was founded in Tokyo in 1934 and formed Mitutoyo America Corporation in 1963, which is headquartered in Aurora, IL.
